COVID-19 update 8 May 2020
General treatment allowed
With the latest update from the national cabinet and the AHPPC dentistry has now moved back to our level 1 restrictions.
This has enabled the practice to move back to seeing our patients for all your normal dental care, whether that be a check-up, clean, crown or implant.
While we can now help with all your dental care and not just emergencies, the practice is still aware of the need to maintain other restrictions such as social distancing, good hand hygiene, and isolation if you have been travelling or in contact with COVID-19.
There will still be fewer chairs in the waiting room, so please only come yourself or with one other person if needed and if you are very early please wait in your car till close to your appointment time
Unfortunately, we don’t have any of our magazines or newspapers at this time but will bring them back as soon as guidelines allow.
If you have an appointment coming up soon and have: returned from overseas or interstate travel in the past 14 days
- felt unwell, including but not limited to symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath
- had any contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days
we will need to reschedule this appointment. Please advise the staff when they are confirming your appointment if any of the above apply to you and we will make an appropriate appointment as soon as possible.
Rest assured, if you have a concern, question or dental emergency we will still be available to take your call and answer your questions. Hopefully, everyone continues to stay safe through this time and we look forward to seeing you soon.
