Dr Peter Jorgensen
Dr Peter JorgensenPrincipal Dentist
Dr Peter Jorgensen grew up in Brisbane and graduated with his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland in 1995. Peter is especially interested in oral surgery and dental implants and has completed numerous courses over the years. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) from the University of Sydney. Peter particularly likes implant surgery, including complex cases, and providing restorative implants to complete treatment. Patients benefit from a continuity of care throughout their implant treatment.

In addition to dental implantology, Peter loves all aspects of dentistry. He enjoys seeing our younger patients, working with kids to help them grow up with healthy teeth and all the knowledge needed to maintain them. He also likes complicated crown and bridge work, as the intricate nature of these treatments suits his perfectionist nature.

Peter always knew he wanted to be in health care and began his training straight from school. It is a career choice he has never regretted. He loves the challenge of diagnosing and solving problems, helping people achieve optimal dental health. Like everyone here, Peter enjoys meeting patients and forming lasting relationships with them and their families. He knows the advantages of having a healthy mouth and teeth that function properly and a trusted dental practice for regular preventative care. Peter is very easy to chat with and especially enjoys learning something new. Regular patients know he is always more than happy to talk about rugby.

Peter has lived locally on the beautiful Sunshine Coast since 2000 and is actively involved with his son’s school, and has previously helped coach kids’ rugby. The practice sponsors Sunshine Coast Rugby and Sunshine Coast Hockey. Peter is also actively involved with the local Australian Dental Association and is currently sub-branch president, coordinating meetings for local dentists.

Dr Michelle Pitt
Dr Michelle PittAssociate Dentist
Dr Michelle Pitt grew up in Sunderland, UK and graduated from the University of Liverpool with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012. Soon after graduating, Michelle decided to leave the UK in search of warmer, sunnier climes. She has lived locally since 2013 and loves being part of our community here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Michelle chose a career in dentistry because she finds it immensely satisfying to be able to help people. She especially likes building caring relationships with our patients based on mutual trust and respect, helping them achieve and maintain a healthy smile. Michelle recognises some people find visiting a dentist a little overwhelming. She is particularly gentle with anyone fearful of receiving dental care, working diligently to help them conquer these feelings.

Michelle enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a special interest in orthodontics. She has completed further training in removable orthodontics and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics. Michelle’s other interests include minimally invasive dentistry, an approach that helps to preserve and protect natural teeth as much as possible.

Away from our practice, Michelle enjoys hiking, skiing, and discovering new music. She loves a good book and always welcome recommendations from patients. Michelle also enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes and ingredients. Whenever possible, Michelle is always keen to travel and loves exploring new regions of Australia and especially enjoys learning more about great places to visit in her adopted country from our patients. She also loves going further afield overseas, specifically to ski fields in search of fresh powder.
